§ 46b-38i

(a) The Judicial Department shall provide training to Judicial Department staff, including court personnel, within available appropriations, on family violence issues and law, including, but not limited to, issues and law related to family violence in immigrant communities. Such training shall address arrest policies and eligibility for federal T Visas for victims of human trafficking and federal U Visas for unauthorized immigrants who are victims of family violence and other crimes.(b) The Judicial Department shall, on an ongoing basis, within available appropriations, study and implement methods to reduce disparities in the disposition of family violence cases among geographic areas.(Sept.
