§ 46b-459

(a) Notice of a proceeding to adjudicate parentage shall be given, by the petitioner for proceedings in the Superior Court and by the Court for proceedings in the Probate Court, to the following persons: (1) The person who gave birth to the child, unless a court has adjudicated that such person is not a parent; (2) a presumed, acknowledged or adjudicated parent of the child; (3) a person whose parentage of the child is to be adjudicated; (4) a representative authorized by the law of this state to act for a person who otherwise would be entitled to maintain a proceeding but is deceased, incapacitated or a minor; (5) the fiduciary of an estate of deceased persons otherwise entitled to notice; (6) in proceedings involving a public assistance recipient, the Attorney General, who shall be and remain a party to any parentage proceeding and to any proceedings after judgment in such action; and (7) the Commissioner of Children and Families, in proceedings involving a child for whom a petition has been filed pursuant to section 46b-129 and who is under the care and custody or guardianship of the Department of Children and Families.(b) A person entitled to notice under subsection (a) of

ion has been filed pursuant to section 46b-129 and who is under the care and custody or guardianship of the Department of Children and Families.(b) A person entitled to notice under subsection (a) of this section has a right to intervene in the proceeding.(c) Failure to provide notice in accordance with subsection (a) of this section shall not render a judgment void.
