(a) A court may adjudicate a person's parentage of a child only if the court has personal jurisdiction over that person.(b) A court of this state with jurisdiction to adjudicate parentage may exercise personal jurisdiction over a nonresident person, or the guardian or conservator of the person consistent with the laws of this state.(P.A. 21-15, S. 8.)History: P.A. 21-15 effective January 1, 2022.
