§ 46b-468

(a) A party to an adjudication of parentage by a court acting under circumstances that satisfy the jurisdiction requirements of the applicable laws of this state, including the provisions of public act 21-15*, and any person who received notice of the proceeding are bound by the adjudication.(b) In a proceeding for dissolution of marriage, annulment or legal separation, the court is deemed to have made an adjudication of parentage of a child if the court acts under circumstances that satisfy the jurisdictional requirements of the applicable laws of this state, including the provisions of public act 21-15*, and the final order: (1) Expressly identifies the child as a 'child of the marriage' or 'issue of the marriage' or includes similar words indicating that both spouses are parents of the child; or (2) provides for support of the child by a spouse unless that spouse's parentage is disclaimed specifically in the order.(c) A determination of parentage may be asserted as a defense in a subsequent proceeding seeking to adjudicate parentage of a person who was not a party to the earlier proceeding.(d) A party to an adjudication of parentage may challenge the adjudication only under the

bsequent proceeding seeking to adjudicate parentage of a person who was not a party to the earlier proceeding.(d) A party to an adjudication of parentage may challenge the adjudication only under the law of this state other than the provisions of sections 46b-450 to 46b-553, inclusive, relating to appeal, opening or setting aside judgments or other judicial review.(P.A. 21-15, S. 16.)*Note: Public act 21-15 is entitled 'An Act Concerning Adoption and Implementation of the Connecticut Parentage Act'.
