The title and ownership of all memorials, tablets and markers, designating any historic place, or in commemoration of any historic event, whether upon public or private buildings, in public parks or cemeteries or upon private grounds, shall be vested in perpetuity in the society or association erecting or placing the same.(1949 Rev., S. 7101.)
