(a) The public policy of this state is to enable and encourage marketability of real property and to mitigate the impact of dormant mineral interests on the full use and development of both surface estate and mineral interests in the property.(b) Sections 47-33m to 47-33t, inclusive, shall be construed to effectuate their purpose to provide a means for termination of dormant mineral interests in real property that impair marketability of the property.(P.A. 87-283, S. 2.)
