Connecticut Title 47 — Connecticut law

Except as expressly provided in this chapter, its provisions may not be varied by agreement, and rights conferred by it may not be waived. Except in the case of nonresidential common interest communities as provided in section 47-215, a declarant may not act under a power of attorney, or use any other device, to evade the limitations or prohibitions of this chapter or the declaration.(P.A. 83-474, S. 4, 96; P.A. 95-187, S. 2.)History: P.A. 95-187 added exception 'in the case of nonresidential common interest communities as provided in section 47-215' to prohibition on certain actions by the declarant.
