Service of an information in the nature of quo warranto brought against a nonresident usurping any office in a corporation organized under the laws of this state may be made upon the nonresident by leaving a copy (1) with the secretary of the corporation if the secretary resides in this state, or (2) if the secretary does not reside in this state, with a resident treasurer or assistant treasurer of the corporation. If no such officer resides in this state, service may be made upon the Attorney General of this state.
