Connecticut Title 53 — Connecticut law

Any parent or guardian of a minor child who, knowing that such child possesses a firearm, as defined in section 53a-3, and is ineligible to possess such firearm, fails to make reasonable efforts to halt such possession shall be guilty of (1) a class A misdemeanor, or (2) if such child causes the injury or death of another person with such firearm, a class D felony.(P.A. 11-51, S. 33.)
