(a) A person is guilty of the unlawful possession, purchase or sale of a war or veterans' memorial or monument when such person possesses or purchases or attempts to purchase or sells, offers for sale or attempts to sell, or transfers or disposes of a war or veterans' memorial or monument, or any part thereof, knowing that it has been unlawfully removed from its official location.(b) Unlawful possession, purchase or sale of a war or veterans' memorial or monument is a class D felony and any person found guilty under subsection (a) of this section shall be fined five thousand dollars.(P.A. 12-38, S. 2.)History: P.A. 12-38 effective May 14, 2012.
