(a) For purposes of this section, 'criminal act' means criminal act, as defined in section 53a-224.(b) A person is guilty of enticing a juvenile to commit a criminal act if such person is twenty-three years of age or older and knowingly causes, encourages, solicits, recruits, intimidates or coerces a person under eighteen years of age to commit or participate in the commission of a criminal act.(c) Enticing a juvenile to commit a criminal act is a (1) class A misdemeanor for first offense, and (2) class D felony for any subsequent offense.(P.A. 21-33, S. 12.)
