When it is necessary to describe any bill issued by the United States or by any national banking association or to describe any United States coin issued as money, it shall be a sufficient description to set forth in the complaint or information that the same is lawful money of the United States, and the value thereof, which value need not be proved as alleged.(1949 Rev., S. 8771.)
