When in any indictment, information or complaint it is necessary to state the ownership of any property owned or possessed by more persons than one, it shall be sufficient to name one of them, and to state such property to belong to him and another or others, as the case may be; or, if it is necessary to mention for any purpose any partners, joint tenants, coparceners, tenants in common or trustees of joint stock companies, not incorporated by the laws of this state, it shall be sufficient to describe them in like manner.(1949 Rev., S. 8772.)
