The Chief Court Administrator shall develop a system to accurately assess the risk that an individual under the supervision of an adult probation officer has to the community and shall develop classification categories and standards of monitoring for such individuals based upon the assessment. The purpose of the classification system shall be to ensure close supervision and restriction, public safety, effective alternatives to incarceration and maximum rehabilitation of persons placed in the community under the supervision of an adult probation officer.(June Sp.
