The Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection shall adopt regulations to establish procedures for criminal justice agencies to query the central repository prior to dissemination of any criminal history disposition information to assure that the most up to date disposition data is being used. Inquiries to the State Police Bureau of Identification shall be made prior to any dissemination except in those cases where time is of the essence and the repository is technically incapable of responding within the necessary time period.(P.A. 78-200, S. 9; P.A. 11-51, S. 134.)History: Pursuant to P.A. 11-51, 'Commissioner of Public Safety' was changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection', effective July 1, 2011.
