Each registrar of vital statistics shall keep alphabetically arranged separate indexes for each group of vital events and shall enter therein the name of each person whose birth, marriage, death or fetal death is recorded by the registrar.(1949 Rev., S. 569; P.A. 01-163, S. 9.)History: P.A. 01-163 made a technical change and added provisions re separate indexes for each group of vital events and re fetal death.
