Any person who violates any provision of sections 7-170 to 7-185b, inclusive, or who makes any false statement in any application for a permit or in any report required by the provisions of said sections shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than one year or be both fined and imprisoned.(1955, S. 307d; P.A. 89-214, S. 14, 26; P.A. 17-231, S. 17.)History: P.A. 89-214 provided that violation of any provision of administrative regulations would subject violator to penalty; P.A. 17-231 deleted '7-185, inclusive, or administrative regulations issued pursuant thereto' and inserted '7-185b, inclusive', effective January 1, 2018.
