The State Treasurer is authorized to temporarily invest in direct obligations of the United States of America such proceeds of the sale of housing mortgage bonds of the state of Connecticut and housing mortgage notes of the state of Connecticut as he determines to be available for such purpose.(1949, S. 464d.)
