§ 8.202

Connecticut Title 8 — Connecticut law

As used in this chapter:(a) Repealed by P.A. 77-614, S. 609, 610;(b) 'Human resource development agency' means a human resource development agency as defined in section 17b-852;(c) 'Housing solely for low or moderate-income persons or families' means housing, the construction or rehabilitation of which is aided or assisted in any way by any federal or state statute, which housing is subject to regulation or supervision of rents, charges or sale prices and methods of operation by a governmental agency under a regulatory agreement or other instrument which restricts occupancy of such housing to persons or families whose incomes do not exceed prescribed limits;(d) 'Municipality' means town, city or borough;(e) 'Governing body' means, for towns having a town council, the council; for other towns, the selectmen; for cities, the common council or other similar body of officials; and for boroughs, the warden and burgesses.(1967, P.A. 522, S. 2; P.A. 77-614, S. 609, 610.)History: P.A. 77-614 repealed Subsec. (a) which had defined 'commissioner' as commissioner of community affairs, effective January 1, 1979.
