Connecticut Title 9 — Connecticut law

If the electors fail to elect a candidate for any office by reason of an equality of votes at any election, there shall be a recanvass of the returns for such office unless, prior to the time of such recanvass, all but one of the candidates so receiving an equal number of votes dies, withdraws his name or for any reason becomes disqualified to hold such office.(1963, P.A. 185, S. 2.)
