(a) Nothing in this chapter precludes a law-enforcement officer from removing firearms under other authority or the filing of criminal charges when probable cause exists. (b) A law-enforcement agency is immune from civil or criminal liability for any damage or deterioration of firearms stored or transported under this chapter.
