Whenever it appears by the return to, or the proceedings upon, any execution, that a judgment is satisfied, the justice, who has the judgment docket, shall make an entry of the satisfaction thereon, if such return or proceedings are before him or her.Code 1852, § 2127; Code 1915, § 4028; Code 1935, § 4514; 10 Del.
