A person is guilty of misconduct by a juror when, in relation to an official proceeding pending or about to be brought before the juror: (1) The juror agrees to give a vote, opinion, judgment decision or report for or against any party to the action or proceeding, or (2) The juror solicits, negotiates, accepts or agrees to accept any payment or benefit for himself or herself for a third person in consideration for supplying any information depicting the juror's service. For purposes of this section, a juror shall be any person who has received notice of summons to appear for jury service. Misconduct by a juror is a class A misdemeanor.11 Del.
