(a) Any person found to be violating this chapter shall, if an individual, be punished by a fine of a minimum of $500 for each offense, or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed 1 year, or both; and, if an artificial entity, shall be punished by a fine of a minimum of $1,000 for each offense.
