(a) Correctional facilities shall collect data on health-care associated infections related to specific clinical procedures resulting from care in the correctional facility, as determined by the Advisory Committee and as set forth in regulations promulgated by the Department. These categories of infection data may differ from that information required from hospitals. (b) Correctional facilities shall report data to the Department in accordance with regulations of the Department.
