(a) General rule. — Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, no procurement organization may divulge any individually identifiable information acquired in the course of performing its responsibilities under this chapter except for the purpose of facilitating organ, eye or tissue donation and transplantation or as otherwise required under applicable laws. (b) Donors and recipients. — The identity of the donor and of the recipient may not be communicated unless expressly authorized by: (1) The recipient; (2) If the donor is alive, the donor; and (3) If the donor is deceased, the next-of-kin of the donor.80 Del.
