§ 122

(a) The Governor shall appoint an Adjutant General, with the advice and consent of the Senate, who shall hold office at the pleasure of the Governor. (b) To be eligible for appointment to the office of Adjutant General a person must have served as a commissioned officer of the Delaware National Guard or the armed forces of the United States.
