§ 310

Where a person is committed to prison in default of paying a fine for a violation of this title or any other law of this State and such person was in possession of a motor vehicle at the time of such person's arrest, the arresting officer and the clerk of the court or the justice of the peace who made the commitment shall immediately notify the Secretary of Safety and Homeland Security and Secretary of Transportation of the make of the car, the engine and serial numbers and the license number.41 Del.
