§ 4507

(a) The Secretary of Safety and Homeland Security may adopt such regulations and procedures as may be necessary to implement this section and to select such equipment as may be necessary for law-enforcement weighing purposes. (b) Equipment used for law-enforcement weighing may include, but is not limited to, the following: (1) 'Vehicle scale'; (2) 'Axle load scale'; (3) 'Wheel load weigher'. (c) The tolerance or permissible error from true value for weighing devices utilized for law-enforcement purposes shall be those which have been adopted by the Division of Standards and Inspection of the State Department of Agriculture. (d) Vehicle weights may be determined by either of the methods defined as follows: (1) 'Single draft weighting'; (2) 'Multiple draft weighting'.21 Del. C. 1953, § 4508; 57 Del. Laws, c. 542; 61 Del.
