(a) Upon payment of the application fee and submission and acceptance of a written application on forms provided by the Board, the Board shall grant a license to each applicant who: (1) Holds a National Council of Architectural Boards (NCARB) certificate; or (2) Presents proof of current registration in good standing in another jurisdiction whose standards for licensure are substantially similar to those of this State; or (3) Is licensed in a jurisdiction whose standards for licensure are not substantially similar to those of this State but who has held an active license in good standing in that jurisdiction for a minimum of 5 years and holds a National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) accredited professional degree in architecture or such other education as the Board deems equivalent; or (4) Is licensed in a jurisdiction whose standards for licensure are not substantially similar to those of this State but who has held an active license in good standing in that jurisdiction for a minimum of 13 years.
