(a) It is unlawful for a person who is not licensed under this subchapter to use in connection with the person's name or business, or otherwise assume or use any title or description conveying or tending to convey the impression that the person is licensed under this subchapter. (b) For a first offense, the court may impose a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 for each offense. For a second or subsequent offense, the court may impose a fine of not less than $1,000 nor more than $2,000 for each offense.
