§ 171

A letter of attorney to sell or dispose of lands, tenements or hereditaments, or to acknowledge a deed concerning lands, tenements or hereditaments, may be acknowledged or proved, and the acknowledgment or proof certified, as prescribed in this chapter in respect to the acknowledgment or proof of a deed. If a party making a letter of attorney is out of the State, the provisions of § 129 of this title, concerning the acknowledgment or proof of a deed when the party making it is out of the State, shall apply.Code 1852, § 1623; Code 1915, § 3210; Code 1935, § 3671; 25 Del.
