(a) If 2 or more players remain in the pot after all of the cards have been dealt and the betting is over for that hand, the remaining players show their cards to determine which player has the best hand and wins the pot. (b) The following provisions govern showdown: (1) A hand with too many or too few cards for that game is dead. (2) A hand is ranked according to the actual cards it contains. The cards speak for themselves when exposed and laid face up on the table. (3) A hand that is prematurely discarded by a player and touches the discarded cards is dead. (4) A verbal concession of a losing hand is not binding. (5) Players who leave the table concede the pot and have a dead hand. (6) A hand discarded by the dealer without objection is dead.75 Del.
