§ 10201

As used in this chapter: (1) 'Committee' means the Joint Legislative Oversight and Sunset Committee established by this chapter. (2) 'Committee staff' means the employees of the Division of Research of Legislative Council who are assigned to support the Committee. (3) 'Entity' means a regulatory, administrative, advisory, executive, or legislative body of this State, including a board, bureau, commission, department, division, committee, council, association, authority, or organized body established by an act of the General Assembly of this State that meets any of the following: a. Is given authority in the Delaware Code to regulate a business, occupation, or profession. b. Is supported in whole or in part by public funds. c. Expends or disburses public funds. d. Is specifically charged by a public body to advise or make recommendations. (4) 'Focused review' means a specialized assessment of an entity, conducted under § 10212 of this title. (5) 'Full review' means a formal assessment of the entirety of an entity, conducted under § 10211 of this title. 'Full review' does not include a focused review.
