The Department, through appropriate divisions, subdivisions and offices, shall have the power to perform and shall be responsible for the performance of all the powers, duties and functions vested by law in the Secretary of State, the Public Archives Commission and the State Archivist, the Lewes Memorial Commission, the Delaware Day Commission, the Portrait Commission and the Delaware Archaeological Board immediately prior to the effective date of this chapter and which are not otherwise specifically transferred to the Department by this chapter.29 Del.
