As used in this subchapter: (1) 'Affiliate' has the meaning specified in § 2(k) of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended, 12 U.S.C. § 1841(k). (2) 'Branch office' has the meaning specified in § 770 of this chapter and also includes a foreign branch office as specified in § 771 of this chapter.
