§§ 11-101. Effective date and definitions. (1) This Act shall become effective on January 1, 1984. (2) As used in this Article, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) 'Prior Uniform Commercial Code' means the Uniform Commercial Code as in effect prior to the effective date of this Act.
