As used in this subchapter, unless otherwise indicated: (1) 'Container' means a 'rigid plastic container' or a 'plastic bottle' as those terms are defined in this section. (2) 'Department' means the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. (3) 'Label' means a molded, imprinted or raised symbol on or near the bottom of a rigid plastic container or plastic bottle. (4) 'Person' means any individual, trust, firm, joint stock company, federal agency, partnership, corporation (including a government corporation), association, state, municipality, commission, political subdivision of a state or any interstate body. (5) 'Plastic' means any material made of polymeric organic compounds and additives that can be shaped by flow. (6) 'Plastic bottle' means a plastic container intended for single use that has a neck that is smaller than the body of the container; accepts a screw-type cap, snap cap or other closure; and has a capacity of 16 fluid ounces or more, but less than 5 gallons. (7) 'Rigid plastic container' means any formed or molded container, other than a bottle, intended for single use, composed predominantly of plastic resin and having a
