§ 781

Whoever takes or destroys any terrapin eggs found, or collected, on or near the shore of any bay, river or stream in this State, where the water is salt, or upon any salt marsh, or beach, shall be guilty of a class D environmental violation. Anyone having possession of such eggs shall be deemed to have taken them there, unless that person proves the contrary.Code 1852, § 969; 12 Del. Laws, c. 329, § 9; 14 Del.
