(a) The county government may establish or extend 1 or more county sewage disposal districts and county sanitary districts in the manner hereinafter provided for the purpose of the collection, transmission, treatment, and disposal of sewage. (b) A county district established or extended hereunder may consist of 2 or more noncontiguous areas.
