§ 1-301-47

47. For the purposes of any act or resolution of the Council of the District of Columbia, unless specifically provided otherwise, the term: (1) 'Act' means an Act of the Congress. (2) 'act' means an act of the Council. (3) 'Attorney General' means the Attorney General for the District of Columbia or designee established under § 1-204.35. (4) 'Council' means the Council of the District of Columbia established under § 1-204.01. (5) 'District' means the District of Columbia. (6) 'Home Rule Act' means the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, Chapter 2 of this title. (7) 'Mayor' means the Mayor of the District of Columbia established under § 1-204.21. (Sept. 23, 1975, D.C.
