01. Student loan repayment assistance for Council employees. (a) There is established within the Council of the District of Columbia a Council Employee Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program to provide eligible post-secondary loan repayment assistance to Council employees who have been employed at the Council for one or more years as of the start of the fiscal year in which funds are appropriated for such purpose. (b) The Council shall develop guidelines for the Council Employee Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program to include eligible loans, employee obligations, and calculation of benefits.
