For the purposes of this chapter, the term: (1) 'Chief Building Official' or 'CBO' means the lead administrator of the Office of Construction and Building Standards, whose appointment is provided for by § 10-561.04. (2) 'Construction Codes' means all codes as defined in section 101.1 of Title 12A of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (12-A DCMR § 101.1).
