101. Definitions. For the purposes of this part: (1) 'Caregiver' means an individual who provides medical or non-medical care to a resident of a long-term care facility. (2) 'HIV' means the human immunodeficiency virus. (3) 'Long-term care facility' shall have the same meaning as provided in§ 7-701.01(7). (4) 'Resident' shall have the same meaning as provided in § 7-701.01(13). (5) 'Resident's representative' shall have the same meaning as provided in § 7-701.01(14). (6) 'Staff' means an employee or contractor of a long-term care facility. (Dec. 13, 1977, D.C. Law 2-38, title II, § 293; as added Dec. 23, 2020, D.C. Law 23-154, § 3, 67 DCR 13244.) Applicability Section 7185 of D.C. Law 24-45 repealed section 4 of D.C. Law 23-154 removing the applicability provision impacting this section.
