06a. Certified nurse-midwife. In addition to the functions authorized § 3-1206.04, a certified nurse-midwife may provide primary care, gynecologic and family planning services, preconception care, care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the post-partum period, care of the healthy newborn during the first 28 days of the newborn's life, and treatment of partners for sexually transmitted infections.
