72. Waiver of requirements. (a) The Board of Professional Counseling shall waive the requirements of § 3-1208.71(a)(1) and (2) for any applicant for licensure as a professional art therapist who presents evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant holds a credential as a board certified art therapist in good standing with the Art Therapy Credentials Board, Inc., or its successor, and has been engaged in active practice of art therapy for at least 3 of the previous 5 years prior to June 24, 2020; provided, that the applicant for licensure is made within 24 months of June 24, 2020, unless further time is granted by the Mayor through rulemaking.
