Rules. The Mayor, pursuant to subchapter I of Chapter 5 of Title 2, may issue rules to implement the provisions of this chapter, including rules relating to enforcement of this chapter and relating to fines and penalties for failure to comply with any provision of this chapter. (Apr. 16, 2020, D.C. Law 23-77, § 6, 67 DCR 2535; Sept. 21, 2022, D.C. Law 24-167, § 5102(f), 69 DCR 009223.) Applicability Applicability of D.C. Law 23-77: § 7 of D.C. Law 23-77 provided that the creation of this section by § 6 of D.C. Law 23-77 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
