10. Rulemaking authority. The Office of the Chief Tenant Advocate shall promulgate rules, subject to Council approval, to implement the provisions of this chapter. (Oct. 20, 2005, D.C. Law 16-33, § 2068b; as added Oct. 1, 2007, D.C. Law 16-181, § 2(g), 53 DCR 6703; Feb. 18, 2017, D.C. Law 21-211, § 2(b), 63 DCR 15307.) Applicability Section 7023 of D.C. Law 22-33 repealed § 5 of D.C. Law 21-211. Therefore the changes made to this section by D.C. Law 21-211 have been implemented. Applicability of D.C. Law 21-211: § 5 of D.C. Law 21-211 provided that the change made to this section by § 2(b) of D.C. Law 21-211 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan.
