Pyroxylin. (a) Owners or managers of establishments where pyroxylin is kept or stored for painting or spraying shall pay a license fee of $50 per annum. No license shall issue hereunder without the approval of the Fire Marshal of the District of Columbia. (b) Any license issued pursuant to this section shall be issued as an Environmental Materials endorsement to a basic business license under the basic business license system as set forth in subchapter I-A of this chapter. Law 24-333 provided that the repeal of this section by § 5(b) of D.C. Law 24-333 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan.
