§ 5.1108

Dismissal of complaint. A complaint may be dismissed on the following grounds: (1) The complaint is deemed to lack merit; (2) The complainant refuses to cooperate with the investigation; or (3) If, after the Executive Director refers a complaint for mediation, the complainant willfully fails to participate in good faith in the mediation process. Law 24-345 retaining the applicability provision impacting this section. Therefore the amendment of this section by section 105(g) of Law 24-345 still has not been implemented. Applicability of D.C. Law 24-345: § 301 of D.C. Law 24-345 provided that the change made to this section by § 105(g) of D.C. Law 24-345 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
